Whether we’ve known each other for years or you just found your way here, welcome. I’m so glad you're reading this. This new chapter of Merzino Design Co has been quietly unfolding for a while now and it’s time that I share it with you. This is more than just a rebrand; it’s a return to the heart of why I create.

Design isn’t just about how something looks. It’s about how it makes you feel.

The artistry of design and aesthetics has the power to transform us—to elevate everyday moments, spark connection, and bring more joy into our lives. That’s what I’m chasing now. Not just pretty things—but meaningful experiences that make life more beautiful and intentional.

What Sparked the Shift?

Planning my wedding changed everything. It pushed me creatively in ways I didn’t expect. I poured so much of myself into every detail —choosing colors that felt like autumn in the mountains, designing signage and florals that told our love story, layering textures and symbolism everywhere. It wasn’t just an event; it was a full sensory experience. And it helped me realize: this is what lights me up. Not just the act of designing, but the ability to curate something that resonates deeply — something people remember, feel, and connect with. That’s what I want to keep creating, whether it’s a space, a product, or a dinner for a special event. 

A Mediterranean Wake-Up Call

I’ve always held tight to my Italian heritage. It’s a big part of my identity. So, when I got married and changed my last name, I felt a little untethered, like I was letting go of something sacred. What I didn’t expect was how my husband’s Lebanese background would pull me even deeper into the Mediterranean lifestyle.

When we visited Lebanon, I felt like I could breathe for the first time in a while. The olive groves, the warm stone architecture, the slow meals, the sea… it all felt honest and soulful, and it changed something in me. The beauty there wasn’t performative. It was rooted in ritual, purpose, and love. I felt so inspired by it all: the textures, the colors, the way people moved through their days with intention. That way of living stuck with me. As I write this, I’m on the edge of my first-ever trip to Italy, and I can feel the timing is no coincidence. My roots, my marriage, and my creative work are all pulling me toward something more grounded and more me.

So What’s Merzino Design Co Now?

This brand has always been a reflection of who I am, but now, it’s more aligned than ever. I still offer interior design services, but this isn’t about picking paint colors or following trends. This is about helping people design lives they actually want to live.

I create beautiful, personal spaces and products that feel like you and that elevate your everyday life.

Whether it’s sourcing objects for your home, helping with a creative vision for an event, or sharing recipes and rituals that bring more intention into your days, everything I do comes back to this one idea: design can transform how we feel. Verzino Vita: A Life of Texture and Soul

Verzino — my family name — means “dark red” in Italian. To me, it’s the color of passion, depth, and richness. “Le mer di verzino vino” meaning, “a sea of dark red wine” was used to describe vast amounts of wine before other descriptors entered the language. Dark Red has become the anchor of this brand moving forward. Verzino Vita is the lifestyle I want to share: a lifestyle that’s rooted in slowness, beauty, and intentional living.
It’s not polished or performative. It’s earthy, refined, warm, and real. It’s the smell of fresh herbs in your kitchen, the feeling of old linen sheets, the glow of candlelight in a home that reflects who you truly are. If you're craving more of that in your life, I’m here for it — and for you.
